The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for significant competition

The rising star maintains impressive online presence

Kai Trump can count on plenty of high-profile supporters when she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates numerous courses worldwide and regularly plays against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He essentially advised me to go out there and have fun," she explained.

"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with running the country, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

Yet she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with her mother.

"He represents the top athlete worldwide," Kai expressed.

"And he's an even better individual. He told me to play, enjoy myself, following the flow."

She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that her participation exposes golf to wider groups, specifically reaching younger fans.

Kai has a massive following and just introduced a personal clothing and lifestyle brand.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
