Two men have been charged following a luggage theft where a suspected irritant spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and charges for using a harmful chemical, as confirmed by court officials.

These accusations come after an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on the weekend. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after getting out of a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A toddler was one of the people hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were subsequently released.

This event – which authorities stated was a standalone event and not being treated as terrorism – led to train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
